Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 (16 ounce) package 4 1/2-inch wonton wrappers
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
Instructions
1
First, preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Next, prepare a small container by filling it with water.
2
Combine ground beef, chopped green onions, salt, garlic powder, pepper, and grated ginger in a bowl until you have a uniform mixture.
3
Lay out several wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place 1-tablespoon portions of the beef mixture onto one side of each wrapper, leaving a small border around the edges. Dip your fingers into the water and gently moisten the edges of each wrapper, then fold them in half to form a triangle around the filling. Press your fingers together firmly to seal the wonton, making sure they don't overlap on the plate. Repeat this process until all the wontons are made.
4
Work in batches to place as many wontons as will fit in a single layer in the air fryer basket, with their oiled sides facing down. Brush them lightly with sesame oil on both the bottom and top surfaces.
5
Cook the wontons in the preheated air fryer for 4 minutes, then carefully flip them over using tongs. Continue cooking until crispy and golden brown on the edges, which should take an additional 3 to 4 minutes. Remove them from the air fryer and transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels, allowing them to cool while you cook the remaining wontons.
