Ingredients
- olive oil for brushing
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 pound tri-colored baby carrots
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh chives
Instructions
1
Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2
Mix together 1 tablespoon of olive oil, a drizzle of honey, and a pinch of salt in a large bowl. Combine the mixture with some freshly ground pepper to taste.
3
Add the carrots to the bowl and toss them around until they are evenly coated with the marinade.
4
Arrange the carrots in a single layer on the air fryer basket, spreading them out if necessary to prevent overcrowding.
5
Cook the carrots in the air fryer for about 10 minutes, stirring them halfway through to ensure even cooking.
6
Once the carrots are tender, transfer them to a large serving dish and drizzle with warm balsamic glaze.
7
Add some melted butter to the carrots and toss them gently to coat.
8
Sprinkle a handful of chopped chives over the top of the carrots for added flavor and texture.
