- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
- 12 ounces imitation crabmeat
- 1 cup mayonnaise

Melt butter in a medium-sized cooking vessel over high heat, allowing it to reach its boiling point. Sear sliced onions and chopped green peppers in the hot butter until they become soft and tender, approximately 3 minutes pass. Introduce crab meat into the skillet; continue to cook for an additional 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Transfer the mixture of crab meat and butter to a medium-sized serving container. Combine mayonnaise with the crab meat mixture, stirring until it reaches a uniform consistency. Serve the dish warm or chilled.
